First Step:Actually if you want to create a banner than first you have to open your Photoshop cs5 than click file (Ctrl + N) will open new file. Now you click and select (Preset – Custom, Width 980PX, Height 305PX, Resolution: 72 Pixels/inch, Color mode: RGB Color, 8 Bit and Background Contents:White.

Second Steps:  Now, if you want to change background for your banner then  youneed to go your Photoshop Filter options andchoose your favorite color (Example: Artistic, Blur, Brush Strokes Distort, Noise and Other etc. ) .

For your banner background you have to click Point Bucket Tool.

Third Steps:After select Point bucket tool click Horizontal Type option and start to write on it. You can choose your favorite font color as per as fill out your requirement. 

Four steps: Now you have to click on your Magic eraser Tool and copy your image and paste it to your main Banner.
